About this site
Ezign is my online portfolio as well as my sketchbook. This project was started in 1999 (has it been that long?), whilst studying an MSc in Multimedia and Interactive Media as a student in Edinburgh.
It was initially set up as a vehicle for displaying my current work, but has evolved over time.
The site contains work done with many different techniques and different media, covering work I have been involved since 1992. You will find example s of design eLearning, web, design fine art and maybe some other stuff too!
About me
35 year old Edinburgh-born designer with extensive front-end web design and development experience. Over nine years commercial web design experience, particularly instructional design for e-learning (6 years).
"We are so obsessed with the Net and technology that we forget the message... We imagine to be able to do anything, and our software helps us believe we can... But we must move beyond the 'how' to reconsider the 'what' and the 'why'..." (Neville Brody)
At present I am working for the University of Edinburgh as an eLearning technologist / flash designer/ web designer. I have always enjoyed a varied role in every job I’ve had.
